Bartholomew Coke two others were convicted of highway robbery. The two others were pardoned but Bartholomew Coke was condemned. Execution not confirmed.

They were all yeoman from Amwell and on 23 February 1573 they assaulted Adrian Abbotte in the highway at Amwell Hill and stole from him £110 in money.
